I am a creative American voice actor with a passion for narrating commercials, political ads, documentaries, promotional and inspirational messages, e-learning, and audiobooks. My deep interest in the profession is enhanced by my decades-long career in journalism.

My journalism career has introduced me to some phenomenal people and taken me to remarkable places, so I’m accustomed to giving voice to important issues. I know what it takes to produce a story steeped in emotion and detail down to the very last word, and, to do it on deadline.

My successful career began soon after graduating with a Master of Arts degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I worked for a variety of blue-chip news agencies as well as freelance writing assignments for magazines and editing books.

Along the way I experienced the commercial and promotional voice-over industry and trained with some of the best in the business to expand into other categories and produce voice-overs that are engaging, sophisticated or playfully smart.

My range extends from rich low tones that can deliver a gentle but firm message to bright and folksy emotions for joyful and positive ones, resulting in a confident, compelling, colorful, and captivating vocal profile that listeners love. All of my voice-over projects are sure to have gravitas with a personal touch.
